SJ Club |
SJ (Super Jesus) Club
SJ Club is the name for our events with children on Sunday mornings during the 10.45am Church service. The children are with the adults for 15–20 minutes before moving to the Stable Room for their own exciting programme. We begin with the 3–11s all together for a time of singing, Bible story, birthdays, and more in the style of a Holiday Club. The children then split into age groups for further activities relating to the story or theme of the day including craft, games, discussion and talking with God. SJ Club is led by Tim Blake and a team of volunteers. Twice each term, on a 3rd Sunday, we have a ‘Special’ where instead of going to age groups, the children can choose from a variety of workshops. Workshops we have had so far include cooking, drumming, song writing, clay modelling, Christmas card making and tile smashing/tiling and animation creation. We welcome you to come along to any of these. Why not give it a try?
On the 1st Sunday of the month everyone stays in church for our 50 minute All Age Service.

In School
X-Stream
X-Stream is a Christian-based club where we gently explore the Christian faith by looking at stories from the Bible, playing games, making crafts, singing and dancing, taking part in challenges and quizzes. Essentially it is a like a mini Holiday Club. It is lots of fun and a place to chill out a bit after school.
This is run by Tim Blake, Natalie Palmer and Amber Brookes and happens on Mondays from 3.30–4.30pm at the Junior School.
Sparklers
This is a fast-paced, action-packed, Christian after school club held on Tuesdays from 3.10–4pm. We meet at Histon and Impington Infant School during term-time for Year 2 infants. Join your ‘Fireworks’ team to win stars as you take part in games, songs, Bible stories, crafts and challenges that help us to understand who God is and build a relationship with him. This club is run by Tim Blake, Gill Day and Sarah Bustin.
For both of these clubs contact Tim Blake on 07905 321901 or timblake7@gmail.com
